So October is finally over, and now that Halloween has flown by, it’s all about the holiday season.
I mean, Starbucks already has the red cups out, and I tell time by Starbucks.
To me, October = pumpkin month. But just because it’s November now, it doesn’t mean I’m ready to let go of all that pumpkin goodness. Here are my posts featuring pumpkin flavors as well as some of my favorite pumpkin recipes I’ve seen this year!
This pumpkin chocolate chip bread, layered with a thick coating of chocolate ganache (and entirely vegan!) was one of my absolute favorite recipes I’ve come up with. I’m a big banana bread baker, but the pumpkin twist was a welcome change!
If ganache is your thing, you should definitely check out this pumpkin chocolate pudding cake! An easy one-bowl recipe, this dessert is basically an enormous molten brownie infused with flavorful pumpkin goodness. The ganache on top makes this gooey cake a favorite.
Obsessed with melty desserts you can eat with a spoon? Same.
My most popular pumpkin recipe this month was my pumpkin chocolate skillet cookie. It’s based off of my favorite cookie recipe and is a skillet full of warm cookie with tons of pumpkin.
Of course, if giant desserts are less your thing, this single-serving pumpkin butter cup is a twist on the classic Reese’s. Pumpkin butter makes this less calorie-dense and also helps avoid any nut allergies!
And if you’re craving pumpkin flavors but don’t have any actual pumpkin or pumpkin purée on hand, these macaroons and these breakfast cookies are healthy and delicious alternatives that use pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin butter instead!
So those were my contributions to the wonderful pumpkin-flavored month of October. Here are a few of my faves!
- This amazing pesto!
- Everything is better in bar form. Even pumpkin pie.
- This has got to be the most gorgeous salad ever.
- These super pretty muffins have a swirl of Nutella. Omg.
- The most gorgeous and delicious-looking donuts… and they’re baked, not fried!
- Walnut sugar?! You have to check out these delicious mini pies!
- Roasted pumpkin + cranberries = a genius salad
- There are pumpkin cookies and there are sugar cookies and then there are these.
- The recipe for these dumplings is in Polish, but plug it into Google Translate and you should be good to go. Even if you don’t make them, the picture are enough!
I hope everyone had a festive and autumnal October! Now… get excited for the holidays! 🙂
Happy Sunday!
xx

Hi Medha! Very nice round up you have here. The pumpkin patch is beautiful! I think my favorite may be the pumpkin chocolate skillet cooke too! Its on my list, as soon as I get a skillet! I’m with Izzy, I eat and crave pumpkin right on past Christmas… I keep a few extra sugar pie and winter luxury pumpkins on my front porch for when I run out of my frozen puree. The pumpkins store well and taste so good well into the new year. Thanks for your delicious round up of recipes!
