In high school, it was the first two weeks of November, because I had daily rehearsals for pit orchestra for my school’s musical, extra practices for my Indian dance recital, schoolwork, and inevitably a couple dance shows somewhere in the mix….
Today’s an extra-special day!!!
I mean of course, apart from having a project, two essays, and two midterms due in the next two days (why). Today we’re actually celebrating something pretty epic….

It may be in the 90s in Connecticut this week, but it’s September and that means pumpkin.
Since I’ve been recipe testing all summer, I’ve bought and consumed many cans of pumpkin already. But somehow it’s just different when it’s season of pumpkin spice lattes….
Peaches are kind of the ultimate summer fruit. (Sorry mango, you win almost every other time, but let peaches have this one)
So it’s kind of a shock to me that I have only one other peach recipe on this blog! Clearly I’m just an ‘eat them fresh’ kind of person. However, when I do bake my peaches, I love them with a little pastry….
