Maple Peanut Butter Blondies

November 30, 2015 by Medha 82 Comments

Now that Thanksgiving’s over and radio stations are playing nonstop Christmas music (that’s a shoutout to you, 97.1), I’m ready to share a ton of holiday baking recipes.

Maple Peanut Butter Blondies | Whisk and Shout

I was just talking to my Jewish friend about how much I love Christmas, despite not being Christian.

While I have friends who attend midnight mass and celebrate the holiday religiously, I think it’s safe to say that many other Christmas celebrators are only in it for all the festivity.

Maple Peanut Butter Blondies | Whisk and Shout

There’s something amazing about how encompassing the holiday spirit is. Christmas music, movies, decorations, food, and sweaters alone can get anyone in the mood for the holidays!

Maple Peanut Butter Blondies | Whisk and Shout

And my specialty is definitely the food. (But also the sweaters and decorating… and did I mention I watch Love Actually at least three times every December and I have a five hour-long holiday playlist?)

Okay, so maybe I’m a little obsessed. What can I say? It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and it starts now.

Maple Peanut Butter Blondies | Whisk and Shout

These maple peanut butter blondies are the perfect way to celebrate the holidays this winter. Only seven ingredients, one bowl, and ready in half an hour, these bars are no-stress, but totally delicious. They are extremely moist and fudgy and packed with maple flavor: the peanut butter is definitely secondary to the maple in these! Enjoy xx

I don’t celebrate Christmas either, and I do love the holiday season. Everyone just seems so happy! And the twinkly lights are lovely.
These are a huge favorite for me because, you know, peanut butter. They’re so thick and chewy looking!

We celebrate Christmas but we don’t go all out. I think it would be different if we had kids. But with just hubby and I, what’s the point? These blondies sound so good. Maple and peanut butter? I/m hooked!

As a musician, this is one of my favorite times of the year. Somehow I never tire of playing and singing the same carols year after year. Love Actually is just too cute for words too, it always gives me the feels 🙂
I was just looking at a blondie recipe yesterday! Perfectly delicious 🙂

It’s hard not to love all things Christmas whether you celebrate or not. The lights, baking, and ugly Christmas sweaters are guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face! And so are these blondies! I definitely say yes to maple peanut butter!

Whole wheat should be fine, since these are so moist. Generally whole wheat absorbs more liquid, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem with this recipe 🙂
