I cannot believe it’s November.
November is when I start feeling that transition from anstumn to winter. Post-Halloween means all my attention is on the holidays. And food-wise, while I’m always here for pumpkin, I definitely start thinking along the lines of Thanksgiving flavors….

I only own two cookbooks.

I’m heading home for fall break in a week and a bit, and I’ve already started planning all the things I’m going to cook and bake, and which of my favorite restaurants I want to hit up.
And even though I made these muffins 3 times in one week and basically ate the entire batch, I’m still going to make sure these muffins are the first thing I stick in the oven next weekend….
Fresh pasta is just one of those things that sounds like a lot of work.
I mean, if you look at most traditional recipes, it certainly seems that way. Lots of kneading, resting, machine-ing, cutting… it’s a lot….
