You know you’re a food blogger when the first place you want to go after you get your driver’s license is to the grocery store to pick up canned pumpkin.
(Also, there’s a Starbucks there, soooooo)
Before we move on, say hi to Simba (my dog). He’s generally adorable and cuddly, and loves to walk into my shots when I’m taking pictures or try to eat random spoonfuls of cinnamon. He’s an angel and runs my family.
Okay, food time.
You’re gonna be seeing a lot more dessert recipes than savory as we head into September.
We’ve got some chocolate recipes, some fun skillet baking, peanut butter, and of COURSE, a ton of pumpkin.
Get excited.
Fall just brings out my sweet tooth, what can I say?
Here are some posts and recipes I’ve totally been loving recently. As we transition from summer to fall, some are great for holding onto those last days of summer, while some are just awesome to dive into autumn with.
This homemade vanilla extract… I had no idea it was this easy!
It’s a Saturday morning and I want this bake on the table for a brunch. Like, now.
I made this frosting twice yesterday to eat straight from the mixer. No shame. (Okay, a little shame)
This and this pesto pastas look soooo delicious.
I’ve made these small-batch muffins twice now, and they’re definitely a favorite!
Roasted shiitake and tofu spring rolls… the name speaks for itself!
I’m not normally a HUGE popsicle fan, but these are simply too pretty to ignore.
And if you haven’t had enough zucchini or you’re grasping onto summer desperately (like me!)…

Awww Simba is so cute! He looks so much like my mom’s dog, however she is afraid of cameras and phones so refuses to get in any pictures. Crazy dog.
