Not Actually Green Smoothie

April 3, 2018 by Medha 3 Comments

This Saturday was the first 60º weekend day of Spring.

Not Actually Green Smoothie | Whisk and Shout

It was sunny, a little breezy, and altogether pretty perfect outside. I didn’t really make it outside, because I spent the entire day dry heaving up a green smoothie.

Okay, maybe not the best pitch for a green smoothie recipe. But this is life, people.

It’s raw and real.

Sometimes you spend all Saturday in the sun. Sometimes you spend it throwing up 18 times in five hours. Sometimes you live under a government you have faith in. Sometimes your president is suing one of your country’s states while it also sues him.

Not Actually Green Smoothie | Whisk and Shout

So basically what I’m saying here is that don’t let my kinda gross story discourage you from making this smoothie because

  1. LIFE IS RAW & REAL
  2. it’s not ACTUALLY a green smoothie, so like, the story isn’t even that applicable

Enjoy! xx

This super easy and delicious 4-ingredient smoothie is packed with nutritious ingredients: spinach, blackberries, greek yogurt, and mango!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup mango, cubed
  • 1 cup baby spinach, packed
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • heaped ½ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
Instructions
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender until homogenous! If you have a weaker blender, begin with the spinach and mango and then add the yogurt and berries.
